Coming Home…

Ireland Well, I knew it would end soon but time really flies! My contract with Dell is up at the end of the month in Ireland and I will have to say it was worth every minute of time I’ve spent here. Considering I’ve never been to anyplace closely resembling Europe, this was the coolest gig I’ve had as a contractor. When I first got to Ireland, it rained all the time but over the last few months the weather is perfect, not too hot or cold and the sun stays out till almost 10PM here. The culture is not much different than in the states but there some things you have to learn. For one, you drive on the left side of the road, not the right side as in the U.S. It’s took me a bit to get use to but after a couple incidents where you catch yourself on the right side and a car is coming at you head on you tend to remember to get over real quick! I didn’t get to see much while I was here and I wish I had been able to get out more. If I get the chance I would like to go to Dublin before the end of the month. What would be cool, is if I could go to London for the weekend. Airfare is cheap through Ryan Air which is kinda like Southwest Airlines in the U.S. One great thing I earned from this was ton of frequent flier miles.
