Vincent Arnold

This Thursday will be my last day spent in Ireland. My contract is up with Dell here in Limerick and it is time to come home. I start a new contract within a week of my return. It was a great experience and a rare opportunity which I could not have passed on. Learning about the culture of the Irish, their ideas and opinions as well as those of Europeans as well will be invaluable to me and something that I could not have experienced first hand in the U.S. It is interesting to note that on my development team alone, we had people from 11 different countries. Communication was tough at times but as we progressed along in the project, you learn what to say and how to say it even if everyone is attempting to speak English. That’s pretty eye opening when you think about it.
